Hello! On this blog I will be doing short reviews of Metal albums, which are important to me, are suggested by you, or new bands that want to promote themselves. 

    I might not be posting daily, but I do regular posts on my instagram (link in My Instagram Section). Also you can find there daily metal related stories and so called events, which are my ideas to interact with community which has 666 members now! (btw i will be using from 1 to 100 scale here :D)

     For the first post, I decided to share a review of a classic album, one of the most important in the second wave of Norwegian Black Metal. Mayhem, with their infamous "De Mysteris Dom Sathanas".

    Classic Mayhem, i just could not say anything more. Band which is loved by many, yet also gets a huge amount of hate. For me they made a huge impact on how we see our music, how does it sound, and how do concerts look.

    Starting off with the musical aspect of this album, it has really dark, I would even say that "graveyard-like" atmosphere. With huge amount of blastbeats and tempo changing riffs it is one of a kind and will remain in the history of metal forever.

    Vocals play also significant role here. Atilla made them sound like a dead mans voice. I really like them, yet they are not the best in the genre.
    
What I like is a different approach to music, with less vocals, almost no solos, and huge amount of instrumental parts, it is a good album for anykind of mood, or just to apprecieate as a masterpiece of early 90s.
